May 2011Work has been very busy... I've sold a few paintings, painting one on commission, and working on several large ones for display later this year. I am also doing a Conservation project at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, which follows one the heels of a project recently completed for the Denver Art Museum. I guess this is the way it goes with kids, the year has flown by! Maddie and Cassie are now little girls, not babies any more. And I am proud to say they like dirt and worms and plants, though they still have to learn which one they should and shouldn't eat. They love each other, which is SO CUTE, until they start fighting... I can't help thinking the folks at Pixar who made Finding Nemo must have small children; remember the sea gulls whose constant cry is "Mine, Mine, Mine"? That's my house... February 20102009 went by in a flash! Maddie and Cassie have grown SO MUCH in their first year, it is simply
amazing, and I have been blessed to spend so much of this year with
them. I have continued to teach painting and drawing classes at the Trails Recreation Center (Centennial, CO) and have also been able to take on some freelance conservation work. 2010 is shaping up to be a busy year with several more exhibits scheduled and some conservation projects on the way as well.
